He has served as CTO of FamilySearch and co-founded several software startups: Junglee, acquired by Amazon; WhizBang! Labs, acquired by Inxight Software; FlipDog, acquired by Monster.com; and RootsFinder, acquired by Findmypast. His publications have been cited over 6,000 times.
